Just christmas and Birthdays Challenge - sketch

Hi ladies another wet day again, so i thought i would make the most of it and catch up with some challenges.
this one is for the Just christmas and birthdays challenge this week they have another fab sketch for you to follow i have managed to make christmas and birthday this week.....
i flipped the sketch round for this one and instead of adding 2 bands across the card like the sketch i cut 2 out to leave the base card showing. i used a 6x6 card and added some foiled Kanban cardstock and a couple of cute Penny Black images coloured with my usual watercolour pencils (the cheap £1 shop ones...lol).

Here is the birthday version of the sketch this time i wanted to use the Daisy and Dandelion stamps which are a bit bigger so i made an 8x8 card to fit them in added some Dovecraft paper and some flowers from my stash and a few pearls.

Hope you like my cards i do love it when people stop by and say hello, i do love to read your lovely comments... thanks again more posts to make...

Christmas Stampin' - challenge

hi ladies ..... wow what a storm.....lost internet connection the tv and the lights, backon now thiugh just had to fetch all the washing back in and soin it again, what a pain, lovely now though might put it back out in a bit.

Here is my entry to the christmas stampin challenge the challenge this week is not to stamp, but use somthing else to create your christmas card.

I chose the diecuts which i've had for ages, i'm afraid i don't have any die cutting machines so this is made up of kits i've bought from ebay. I cut some of them down a bit and added chalk and white gel pen for highlights.

The papers are from doodlebug inc and the ribbon and pearls are from my local market.

I must say a big thankyou to MacKenzie (midnightscramper)for chosing my card as her favourite last week, so no pressure this week then....lol... please pop over and checkout her fab blog.
hope you like my card thankyou so much for popping by please leave a comment if you have time and i will pop by your blog and say hi.

Christmas Stamping - white

hi everyone... wow what a wet wet wet morning still very warm though......
Here is my entry to the christmas stampin challenge, this week they wanted to have a predominantley white theme. It took me a while to come up with somthing... and here it is,

Used acetate for a change, because when i put white on white they were all different and some of them looked dirty.

This is the back of the card, so you can't see the glue from the other side.
The santa image is from Rubberstampede the other bits are from my stash which i've had some of them for a few years.
thankyou so much for visiting me, please come back again.

TING!!!!! did everyone here it about 20mins ago...... yep that was my lightbulb switching one (doh)...lol, after thinking about this since sunday not having a clue what i was going to do... then all of a sunday i knew how to do it, i wasn't sure how to make the ends where it gathers...
well here it is not spectacular i know but it's here.

Pants photo just couldn't get the light right it's just too bright... the paper is actually green...

you can see the inside where i cut little triangles out to help it gather without tearing... then secured it with some elastic and then tied some curling ribbon around it.

ickle snowman to decorate.....
